Peter fully supports Conservative proposals which will ensure that 50% of the houses to be built at Kingshill are affordable and targeted towards people with local connections.

Cliff Hilditch

Cliff Hilditch has lived in Cirencester for nearly 30 years. He is married to Lynn and has three adult children. Cliff was a pilot in the RAF for 32 years serving mostly on transports; latterly with the Hercules force at RAF Lyneham. On retiring from the RAF Cliff continued to work in aviation, training would-be commercial pilots at The Oxford Air Training School at Kidlington.

Although he has not previously taken an active part in politics he has long had. a keen interest in the things that politicians do for and to us. He is particularly interested in crime prevention/policing, waste and inefficiency and education. The place of England, as an unequal partner, within the United Kingdom is a growing concern.

Cliff is an active member of the Probus Club of Cirencester, and he presents a weekly music programme on Cirencester Hospital Radio. Other interests include rugby, golf and recorded music.

Steve White

Having worked as a teacher for over twenty years, Steve moved to Cirencester about five years ago together with his wife and two young sons, the youngest now attending school in Watermoor. Steve is currently employed in sales and this allows him to meet many local people which, in turn, has helped him to understand the needs of the community. He supports the Conservatives in their fight against unfair funding of education in the Cirencester and the Cotswolds.

Steve has a Science degree and means to use his knowledge to help the Conservatives build on their excellent record for recycling.
